Account Executive (Sales)

Job Overview:

ZINC from ZEDO is a non pre-roll, large format video marketplace, enabling brand advertisers to reach online audiences with high impact video ads or TV commercials. ZINC is currently looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join this growing team and foster relationships with agencies. In this role, the Account Executive, will meet planners at agencies, source RFPs and incremental buys, build a pipeline, and close business to meet quarterly sales targets. This is a full-time position located in Zedo’s NYC office in mid-town Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, closing, and implementing media partnerships.
  • Build strong, long lasting relationship with agencies.
  • Liaise with the Ad Ops and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of campaigns.
  • Quickly respond to inbound ZINC platform leads and enquiries.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to maximize revenue while providing accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities using Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate intense motivation to sell, gain market share and win.
  • Exceed quarterly revenue targets

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales.
  • Experience in the Internet, advertising, or digital advertising industry is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Track record of sourcing and closing deals.
  • Revenue focused, negotiation and analytical skills across contractual, technical and financial areas all pluses.
  • Great presentation and communication skills before clients are critical.
  • Strong understanding and interest in Internet technologies is a plus.
  • Willingness and desire to be a key individual contributor with high comp targets but also a strong team player.
