Opt Out

ZEDO is a technology company that offers ad serving solutions to top web sites and networks.

Consumer privacy is a top priority at ZEDO. We adhere strictly to all industry guidelines and continually review and improve our privacy policy and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of consumer information. To read more about our dedication to Privacy, please see our Privacy Policy.

ZEDO Opt Out
ZEDO offers users the opportunity to select an "opt-out cookie" to prevent information from being uniquely associated with their browsers. Users can then opt-out of ZEDO's ad-serving cookies without erasing or altering other cookies associated with their browser.

Please also note that most major third-party online advertising companies have agreed to provide an opt-out mechanism.

By selecting an opt-out cookie, ads delivered to your browser by ZEDO are targeted based only on the non-personally identifiable information that is available from the Internet environment, including information about your browser type and Internet service provider, and the general content of the site or page your browser is viewing. Also, please note that if you choose an opt-out cookie, ZEDO is unable to recognize your browser from one visit to the next, and you may therefore receive the same ad repeatedly. By receiving this cookie, ZEDO systems will know that you have opted out and will not attempt to assign other cookies in the future. Since the ZEDO opt-out cookie does not contain a unique user number, it does not allow us to identify your browser.

NOTE: If you erase or alter your browser's cookie file in any way (including upgrading certain browsers) you may need to perform this opt out process again. Opting out of a ZEDO ad serving cookie and opting out of Pop Up ads ZEDO is serving are not the same thing! You can control many Pop Ups by disabling Javascript on your browser or by using free ad blocking software available on the internet.

To deny cookies you may have currently accepted, and to deny or limit cookies in the future please follow the procedures below:

Please note that if you delete your ZEDO opt-out cookie, you will need to opt-out again. If you choose to block all cookies, you will block the setting of the opt-out cookie.

Internet Explorer 5.0+
Go to the Tools menu, then to Internet Options, then to the Security tab. Highlight the Internet icon (it should be selected by default). Set the security level to High. Click OK. Then go to your cookies directory (usually c:\windows\cookies) and delete all the files you have there. Once you delete these files, you will have no more cookies, and your browser will no longer send or receive new cookies.

Netscape 6.0+
Go to Edit in the menu bar, then Preferences, then Advanced, and select the Cookies field. Now check the box that says either, "Warn me before accepting a cookie" or "Disable cookies". Click on OK. Click on the Start button, click on Find, click on Files and Folders, type "cookies.txt" into the search box, and click Find Now. When the search results appear, drag all listed files, into the Recycle Bin. Restart your browser. Depending on your earlier choice you will either be prompted by new cookie sets or no cookies will be set or received.
