ZEDO's leaders are a team of dynamic individuals with experience and proven track records. They are:

Roy
de Souza
Chief Executive Officer
and Co-founder
Roy is responsible for ZEDO's strategy and vision.
He founded the company in 1999 and it is now the
third largest ad server in the world. Roy is a
well known figure in the online advertising industry
on the West Coast and a frequent speaker at ad:tech
and other industry conferences. He is widely regarded
as an expert in the space. Prior to ZEDO, he was
in product management at Zip2.com, an Internet
city guide company that was acquired by Compaq.
Before Zip2 he consulted for The COBA Group, a
strategy consulting firm in the UK: There, he
gained extensive experience in marketing strategies,
consumer goods marketing and advertising, with
such companies as Avon, Hewlett Packard, and Schwab.
He also evaluated potential investments for venture
capitalists. Before COBA, Roy worked for Rover
Group Cars and Imperial Chemical Industries. He
started his career in the advanced technology
division of Ove Arup & Partners Consulting Engineers.
Roy received his MBA from the Kellogg School at
Northwestern University, where he served as Vice
President of Technology. Roy received his Masters
in Engineering and Economics from St. Anne's College,
University of Oxford. |

Joseph
Jacob
Vice President of Technology
Joseph oversees the design, plan, and operation
of ZEDO’s technology platform so that ZEDO
can reliably serve billions of ads throughout
the world at a great value to the customers. Joseph
has over ten years of work experience at various
high profile technology organizations. Prior to
joining ZEDO in 2000, Joseph worked for the Mobile
Computing and Workstation Technology divisions
of Hewlett Packard. At Hewlett Packard, he was
responsible for the design, development, integration
and deployment of various software applications
for cell phones, handheld devices and workstations.
He previously worked at the X Consortium in Cambridge,
Massachusetts and for Everest Consultants of Portland,
Oregon in various software development capacities.
Joseph holds a Masters degree in Computer Science
from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of
Technology degree in Computer Engineering from
Kerala University. |

Summer
Koide
Vice President, Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management at ZEDO,
Summer uses her expertise to help ZEDO become
a leader in the online ad serving and e-commerce
space. Summer leads project management and release
management efforts at ZEDO. She is responsible
for strategic initiatives that will improve ZEDO’s
operations, the quality of core products, and
the release time for new features. Summer has
over a decade of of rich and varied experience
in retail and technology at various leading organizations,
including Orchard Supply Hardware, Sears, and
Netflix, during which she has demonstrated expertise
in engineering management, product and technical
project management. Before joining ZEDO, Summer
was in charge of strategic planning, engineering
project management and cross-team communication
at Walmart.com. Summer’s experience was
instrumental in making Walmart.com one of the
top three e-commerce sites in the world. Prior
to Walmart.com, Summer was in charge of product
assortment, merchandising and vendor negotiations
at Homewarehouse.com. She has numerous consulting
assignments to her credit ranging from project
management to system improvements and integrating
content management systems. |
