Job Description
• Hands on Engineering Role.
• Junior engineers will look up to him/her for technical direction.
• Performance Tuning and scaling application.
• Conduct high level code reviews.
• Design and Architect of complex systems and refactoring of code.
• Manage planning, development and implementation of projects .
• Assist the top management in planning IT strategies.
• Responsible for managing new IT projects and ensuring effective utilization of IT to provide business solutions.
• Should have some Project Management skills.
• Interview and Recruit engineers.

Desired Profile
• Should have 8 to 12 years engineering experience .
• Has to be extremely confident in Java and SQL.
• Strong software engineering background with referrals.
• Highly experienced with web based products.
• Should be very familiar with Linux, Java and database.
• Preferably worked with Product based companies.
• Background should include working with large firms or startups.
• Should have a clear understanding of business realities and the need for profit.

DATABASE DEVELOPER

Job Overview
ZEDO Inc, is inviting Database Developers to join our fast-growing team in India. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute to the development of our online ad serving solutions. Responsibilities
• Administer Postgres database sites and maintain 24/7 operation integrity, performance, and availability.
• Perform daily operation check routines for all environment, assess database capacities by monitoring online storage, growth and file system space.
• Create database instances, manage and populate data, relational and object tables, and provide definition for table space structures, rollback segments, redo log buffer, sizing database object.
• Development and optimization of SQL Scripts and queries, and write Scripts (Perl, PHP)related to Database.
• Implement database solutions for ZEDO's Third Generation Ad Serving technology and their rapidly expanding online Shopping Community, building new features and perfecting current code base.
• Ensure the completion of all daily backups, archives and exports.
• Work with the QA team to ensure proper quality level is used for functional and regression testing.
• Perform deployments across the Development, Testing, Staging and Production environments, as well as adopt and maintain change control processes across all sites.
• Investigation and resolution, including unit testing, of all bugs assigned to you.
• Adhere to ZEDO Software development standards for enterprise systems.
• Evaluate effectiveness of software components to identify areas of system improvement.
• Proactive and consistent communication with your team lead and counterparts in the San Francisco office.

Skill Sets
• Knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting.
• Unix system administration on 2 or more of: Linux, Solaris, BSD, HP-UX, AIX.
• Familiarity with 2 or more of the following RDBMSs: Oracle, Postgres, MySQL 4, DB2, Sybase, MSSQL, Informix, Ingres, MaxDB.
• Working knowledge of source code control systems (CVS).
• Good organizational skills. Must be able to work on multiple projects at once, and flexible to handle changing business priorities.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with cross-functional teams, as well as work alone on projects.
• Demonstrate an ability to identify creative and long-lasting solutions to challenging business problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification & Experience
• Java experience (1 year +).
• Strong Object Oriented design skills.
• Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and Perl.
• Working knowledge of databases (Oracle, Postgres), SQL, and JDBC.
• Hands on experience with the operation of source code control systems (CVS preferred) and code branching.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering -- or an equivalent degree in Mathematics or Science with experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with IDE’s and build tool (such as Eclipse, IntelliJ and Ant) are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of web technologies (Javascript, HTML, HTTP) a plus.

HEAD SALES

Job Overview
ZEDO is looking for a smart and experienced online advertising sales leader to continue the company's expansion in selling CPM-based display successful candidate must be aggressive, creative, and resourceful and must enjoy working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. The position requires outstanding advertising, sales, communication, and management skills as well as a gift for developing and maintaining relationships. S/He must be accomplished at selling display advertising at high CPMs. He/She will be responsible for hitting monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

The successful candidate will work from our Mumbai office (near Andheri East station) and have strong relationships with advertising agencies in Mumbai and in other major cities.

Responsibilities
• Experience of selling behavioral targeting at high CPMs is a plus.
• Track record of developing long-term relationships with (and commitments from) major clients and agencies.
• The successful candidate must enjoy problem solving and be unafraid of technical solutions.
• Teamwork skills essential; must inspire the team; sense of humor required; overdeveloped sales egos must be checked at the door.

Qualification & Experience
